About Alyssa

I am a special education teacher who has had extensive experience working with a variety of children in different settings, including schools, mental health settings, and childcare settings. I have worked with children ages 3 months - 14 years old over the last nine years, and have been a special education teacher at the elementary and middle school level over the last 3. 5 years. I am currently pursuing my Master's degree and completing my student teaching in elementary education. While I am completing my student teaching requirements, I am seeking part-time employment providing childcare and/or tutoring services in the afternoons and evenings. I can also provide occasional weekend babysitting! I am passionate about working with children and creating joyful, creative, and memorable experiences with them! My experience has provided me with a strong skill set that allows me to adapt to different ages and needs that children have, always providing compassionate and nurturing care!
