About Alyssa

I'm an educator with over 9 years of experience looking for an opportunity for the summer! I have experience working with children of all ages (infant-14) in school, respite, mental health, and community settings. I'm finishing my Master's degree and will have my teaching license in special education and elementary education upon graduating. I enjoy planning creative, hands-on activities and taking children to events and activities in the community. I am looking for a family that values diversity, inclusivity, and teaching children about the world around them. My core belief is that children should be exposed to diverse perspectives, cultures, and ideas, which helps them build empathy, curiosity, and a strong sense of community.
