About Alyssa

My interest in senior care started as a young child as both my mother and grandmother work as nurses and home health care for patients. My grandmother was in her late 70's herself and still providing senior care, she was dedicated and loved what she did and I believe that is where I get my specific adherence from. My first time professionally caring for seniors was as an abroad volunteer in Peru in 2009, I assisted health care professionals for two weeks where I knew no one at the beginning and became great friends with other volunteers by the end. Being in another culture while helping others has made me see how much the assistance is appreciated. I have also worked Physical and Occupational Therapy in Nursing homes throughout Albany County.
