I have experience working with children with Autism. With various behaviors and support needs. Ranging from elopement, aggression, tantrum ect. In addition to having experience with verbal and nonverbal children. I feel it is important to take the time to get to understand each child and how they see they world. While supporting and aiding them with daily task as needed. All while incorporating fun and play to task! I'd describe my personality as supportive, attentive , and playful! I like caring for people with special needs because I enjoy supporting them as needed while allowing them to foster independence and explore there environment in a safe and functional way!
