About Alysia

Hello there! I have cared for and love animals of all ages and sizes! I have 10+ years of experience in an animal shelter, have worked at a veterinary clinic, have owned dogs my entire life and have experience as a Puppy Raiser for service dogs. While volunteering with Animal Rescue of Fresno I also became a foster "paw-rent" so I'm comfortable with large groups of dogs as well as one-on-one time! In the shelter I managed the yards on a daily basis, and at home I worked on training and socialization with fosters. While working in Cedar Veterinary Hospital I was responsible for general care of our clients as well as administering both oral and injected medications. I further broadened my experience by becoming a Puppy Raiser for Southeastern Guide Dogs & am confident with their professional training methods. I am comfortable handling very small dogs and the largest as well. Through my positions in the animal world, I have also become comfortable caring for other types of household pets.
