About Alysia

With over 15 years of child care experience, I specialize in childhood development and caring for children with diverse needs. My journey began as a babysitter for children ages 6 months to 12 years, leading me to study psychology with a focus on childhood development. I then worked as a nanny for 6 years, caring for three children, including two on the autism spectrum. This hands-on experience shaped my understanding of individualized care, behavioral techniques, and communication strategies for children with autism. I also became a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), working for 4 years with children ages 1 to 16, implementing behavior intervention plans and collaborating with professionals to support developmental and behavioral goals. In addition to child care, I offer support with light housekeeping, transportation, and meal prep. My approach is built on respect, consistency, and fostering growth in a positive, nurturing environment.
