Hello! My name is Alyse and I am focused on the growth and success of your student. I provide personalized, one-on-one reading support for your child using "The Science of Reading Approach" which includes: phonics, phonemic awareness, reading comprehension, and fluency. I specialize in working with struggling readers via remote, online tutoring. I have a teaching degree in special education along with a reading endorsement from Capital University. I also hold a bachelor of arts degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from The Ohio State University. I have over 7 years of experience teaching reading to students remotely, through a virtual setting. I primarily work with learners ages Pre-K-5th grade. I also have many years of experience as a intervention specialist and reading specialist. Since sessions are held virtually, you may be located anywhere within The United States or Canada.
