About Alyra

I would describe my personality as compassionate, optimistic, and joyful. I have always had a passion working with kids, so I decided to pursue a degree in Elementary Education. In my ideal job I would be able to help temporarily care for children and give parents the opportunity to take time and care for their needs. I started working with kids when I was 15, babysitting my little sister and cousins. I began helping with the children's program at my local church. I have taken babysitting jobs in high school and college. Then I student taught in a second grade and kindergarten classroom. I have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to be apart of a collegiate, so much my of free time is devoted to practice and working out. I also love the beach! I have college education in child development and strategies for working with kids. I have also had experience in the classroom. This taught me patience, and how to contain the chaos kids can bring.
