Hello everyone, My name is Alyna. I live in the federal hill area. I am a fresh graduate from Dominican college with a bachelors in Psychology with a minor in gender studies. I am bilingual, as well as CPR certified , I have my own car and have 5+ years of experience. I work very well with children who range from newborns to teens. I am currently looking for full time work. I am very helpful in all departments from cleaning to cooking to picking something up from the store! In most recent events I am extremely helpful with distance learning. I have also been extremely covid cautious and am willing to be as cautious as possible to help your family stay safe and comfortable. I am extremely respectful and responsible. Alyna came to care for our 4-year old boy and newborn girl from August 2020 to January 2021. She is extremely engaging, smart, and empathetic. She helped our son make incredible strides in a short amount of time with reading, science, and math; she created art projects for the two of them to do together that he loved so much, he taught them to the other family in our covid-safe pod. Alyna is great to spend time around - it felt like she was part of our family, like a friend coming to visit. Professionally, it's hard to draw lines in Covid times - we're all in the same house together - but Alyna always made sure to check if we were working, busy, or needed space to work & accommodated us as best as she could in a small space. We decided to part ways for reasons completely unrelated to Alyna herself. In normal times, we would have happily stayed with her, and we're extremely sad to see her go, but happy to know that she'll bring another family joy.
