After many years of making strong connections with students with severe special needs, I decided to go ahead and get certified in this area. My children are also people with special needs, managing autism, AD/HD, and bipolar disorder. We have many other needs too, and teaching them to successfully navigate the world is the priority. This involves planning, organization and the flexibility to cheerfully go forward when those things do not sort out. I am here to help, whether it is as a mother or as a teacher. This is my calling.
