I am a mother of two marvelous humans and have one sweet baby, R , a miniature dachshund who is truly my favorite person. I have always been a dog and cat lover, though my cat is an old man and just wants peace. And food. I have been a teacher for 20 years in Florida and love my profession; I recently moved to Maryland and started teaching students with special needs, which has reignited my passion for teaching. I hope to earn extra money this summer by taking care of pets, I might consider work as a tutor/teacher, but I seek change and always have love for fur babies. It is healthy for the soul. In Florida, my child and I took a Dog Walking Course so we could volunteer. It was remarkably useful and we enjoyed this volunteer role. I also sponsored a Club in Florida that collected 1, 000 lbs. of food annually for a local shelter. I am a giver, and I look forward to this new adventure.
