About Althea

I started working with kids when I was 16 as an ice skating coach and neighborhood babysitter. As an ice skating coach, I have gained 7 years experience teaching children ages 2-18 with fun games, positive reinforcement, and community building exercises. Classes typically range from 2-20 students, so I have lots of experience commanding group activities! I also teach private ice skating lessons, where I develop lesson plans, form connections with my students, and ensure safety on the ice. My babysitting experience has been with children ages 3-12, up to 4 children, and for up to 12 hours. I prefer working in the age range of 4-12+, though message me if you think I would be a good fit for your family. I am CPR and First Aide certified (Red Cross) through June 2025, and plan on renewing my certifications. I am comfortable with most pets, though prefer not to work with large dogs.
