About Allyssa

I have been dancing since I was 5 years old. Growing up, I trained and performed in ballet, jazz, lyrical, modern, and hip hop. Then I attended Wheaton College MA, where I was a member of the Wheaton College Dance Company and the multicultural hip hop group TRYBE. I choreographed, trained, and performed for the companies. After college, I moved to Los Angeles and trained extensively for five years at some of the world's most esteemed studios like Edge Performing Arts Center and Millennium Dance Complex. I moved to St Pete last year, where I've continued dancing on my own and creating dance videos to share my art on social media. I focus on connection between mind, body, and soul and on connecting with the music to allow it to fuel your movement. I also feel technique is important in giving the body a wider creative range for expression. I would love the opportunity to tutor in dance to give you or your child greater confidence and a sense of freedom and inspiration while dancing!
