With a father who teaches Adaptive Physical Education, I grew up volunteering at the NJ Special Olympics for many years. After graduating from Rutgers University with a degree in Public Health, I then began a full time volunteership with Americorp VISTA in Center For Family Services in the Great Abilities Program. In this program I worked with people of many different behavioral issues and developmental disabilities, implementing behavior plans and teaching life skills. I am currently working as a Direct Support Professional, but as all good things must come to an end, the woman I currently work with, soon will no longer be in need of my services. So, I'm looking for my next job!
