About Allysa

I am a recent graduate from UT with a focus on Climate Dynamics and Meteorology. I have 5+ years of tutoring experience and specialize in math. I am looking for families are looking for tutoring in math for their students! I'd describe my personality as creative, enthusiastic, and curious I like working with kids because I enjoy getting to teach the younger generation about the world and showing them new things! I'm looking for a job that would provide me the chance to strengthen my teaching skills I started working with kids when I was in high school. I have past experience working at a Kumon learning center which is pre-k to high school. I also have experience working with college level math in a university setting. In my spare time, I like to paint, crochet, hike, rock climb, and read. One thing you should know about me is I am very craft and have a lot of hobbies related to art. I like to translate this sometimes into the educational setting to make it more fun!
