About Ally

Always a kid at heart, I am an energetic, fun, bubbly babysitter who truly believes in the power of play! I'm the babysitter who plays hide and seek at the park and encourages others to join. I challenge kids to use their imagination and provide joy and comfort. In 2011, I joined the team at New York Kids Club for 3 years, teaching early childhood development, after school programming and adult participation classes in the arts, science, music and sports. I then had the opportunity to be a full time nanny for a family for over five years. Working with a range of children from infants to teenagers, I proceeded to babysit part time in the Brooklyn Heights neighborhood until the pandemic. I am still in close contact with all of these families because I believe in the importance of these relationships. I try to communicate with kids on their level, letting them know that they are being heard and that their opinions and ideas matter.
