I am the mother of the second family she refers to, and it is exactly that! She is part of our family, and we would do anything for her! Her son is the baby brother to my children that I didn't have to get pregnant for. I have never had to talk to her about how I want my children to be raised. She perfectly balances activities/trips and fun with enforcing the rules of the house with proper discipline when needed. With her background in early childhood development, she has prepared 2 of my 3 children for preschool, and has been working with my 3 year old on her speech. She is a responsible, caring, dependable, wonderful human being. If she wasn't moving, we would never ask her to leave. I am a full-time working mother of these 3 crazy children, and the level of trust I have for her, allows me not to stress at all and focus on my responsibilities and care for my patients. Then when I come home after a long day, she has helped out by doing laundry, dishes, cleaning up after the kids, as well as other light duty house projects. She has been flexible with her life to accommodate me and my husbands work schedule. I honestly can not say enough about Allissa. Our hearts will break when we have to tell her goodbye. She has helped me raise my children for the last 4 years. My kids give her hugs and kisses most days when she leaves. They absolutely LOVE her! I can never tell her in words just how great of job she has done with them, and how I will be eternally grateful she came into our lives!
