Ms. Ali was the school nurse that took phenomenal care of my type-1 insulin dependent diabetic son. She went above and beyond and put my troubled mind at constant ease. I don’t know that I have ever met someone that was as helpful and kind as Ms. Ali. She did it all, from checking blood sugars, to performing carb ratio and correction factor calculations. She would heat up his personal lunch, provided me with frequent updates, and always kept his favorite snacks in stock. She was constantly going above and beyond. She even helped my ‘mama mind’ keep up with the things going on at the school. After caring for my son during such a difficult transition, I can honestly call her family. I wish I had better words to describe how special she is to us, but none would do her justice. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart for loving my son and helping me in all the ways that you never had to do. It will forever be appreciated. You really are the best, and we really are so grateful for you!
