I'd describe my personality as empathetic, creative, and extremely patient. I like working with kids because I am able to help them evolve into kind and independent humans! I'm looking for a job that offers flexibility doing what I love - helping others; and that offers a positive work environment. I started working with kids when I was 17 years old. I began by teaching dance and most recently was as a special education teacher for a group of elementary children with autism for MDCPS. In my spare time, I like to practice yoga and cook. One thing you should know about me is I am patient and kind with children. My #1 priority is teaching children to express their concerns, needs, and feelings. We have been incredibly fortunate to have Allison as part of our family for some time now, and I cannot recommend her highly enough (she’s not leaving us, but is a PERFECT and TRUSTWORTHY for babysitting, tutoring or even teaching your kids yoga). She has been an absolute gem in caring for our two 10-year-old daughters, consistently going above and beyond, helping with school pick-ups, taking the girls to after-school activities, assisting with homework, and engaging them in meaningful and fun activities. She is loving, sweet, and compassionate, always treating our girls with the utmost care and respect. Beyond her nurturing demeanor, she is extremely trustworthy and dependable, which has given us so much peace of mind. Allison is truly like an extension of our family, and our daughters absolutely adore her. We cannot imagine our lives without her and are confident that she will bring the same warmth and professionalism to any family she works with.
