Hi there, I'm Allison. I have been working with children for several years, it's a job that I truly love! I have the most experience with ages 1mo- 6 years old. I started babysitting at a young age (middle school age) for my church, VBS, and in the nursery. Since then, I have been a nanny or babysitter on and off into my mid twenties. My husband and I moved to Pike Road in Nov. 2022. He is active duty Air Force. We currently do not have any children of our own yet, just our 3 fur babies. In my spare time, I like to work in my garden, practice yoga, paint, and take my dogs on long walks. I would say my top 3 skills with children would be communication, patience and understanding. I know that sometimes working with children can come with its challenges, but at the end of the day, I believe children deserve to be heard and validated

I hired Allison to help watch my children (1 & 6 years old) during my work orientation recently, which required her to be up and at my home by 6am every morning that entire work week. She prepared all 3 meals and multiple snacks in between for my children while I was away. She played with both of them and gave them her full attention while she was there. Allison's love for kids is very plain to see and I would hire her again in a heartbeat! If you need a sitter or a nanny Allison is a 10/10! :)
