About Allison

My name is Allison. I am 33 years old. I truly enjoy caring for the elderly. They have so much wisdom and knowledge to share, its amazing! Caring for the elderly is not only rewarding, it is also something I am very passionate about. I have 14+ years of professional experience caring for men and women. I started down this path when I was about 14 helping take care of my grandmother and decided at that point, that was what I wanted to do with my life. I am a full-service caregiver. I cook, clean, do house work, laundry, help with bathing and dressing, basic wound care, mobility and range of motion exercises, medication management, etc. I mostly have worked with non ambulatory people(with and without a Hoyer lift) with a variety of neurological diseases, Parkinson's, various levels of Alzheimer's/dementia and stroke patients. I have previously been CPR/first aid certified and held CNA and HHA licenses, but since I have not worked for a facility or company I have let them go.
