About Allison

My name is Allison, a resident of Santa Barbara. I have been a caregiver for 12 years working in disparate environments to include private in home one on one care, multiple client homes weekly via an agency and working in a memory care facility. I have worn multiple hats from caregiver, med tech to supervising caregivers. My greatest attribute is patience. Duties performed are transfers using both Hoyer lifts and gait belts for those up to 200 lbs, dispensing & reminder meds, bathing- dressing, meal preparation and feeding, toileting, light house keeping including changing bed linens and washing dishes, monitoring blood pressure and blood sugar, running errands and taking clients to Dr appointments.. I have experience with clients that have mild to severe Dementia/Alzheimer's, COPD, advanced stage Multiple Sclerosis, and Hospice. Certifications: American Caregiver Association Health Aid Certified, TB test in 02/19, CPR and First Aid updated and approved. Car and insurance.
