About Allison

Hello! I am an organic vegetable farmer! Although I find feeding families incredibly rewarding, farming is seasonal. For the past two years I have been a paid employee of my church as the person in charge of youth and children's ministry. My duties include planning events for the children, as well as, teaching Sunday school every Sunday and working in the nursery during church. I regularly have from 3-15 children in the nursery at a time. I first started babysitting for neighbors' in middle school, as well teaching VBS and Sunday school. This included ages from three to seven. Throughout high school and college, I babysat for a family of five (including twins and a puppy). Throughout high school and college, I worked as an activity manager at the Crayola experience, guiding children and families through the museum. After college, I moved to the Dominican Republic to broker ethically sourced coffee, while there I, also, taught a small English classes to children and adults.
