About Allison

Hello! I'm a former teacher with over 10 years of experience caring for and teaching children of all ages. I loved teaching, but have thrived as a full time nanny since 2018. In this career I appreciate the relationships I form with families and the bonds I build with my nanny children. I am patient, calm, and creative, which allows me to engage children in learning experiences tailored to their personality and needs. I enjoy creating and playing educational games with children, arts and crafts, developing mental and physical skills through music, and fostering social skills. I am comfortable caring for up to four children. I graduated from Ohio University with a B. S. in Early Childhood Education, I am certified to teach English as a second language, and I am CPR and First Aid certified. In addition to my career caring for children I enjoy gardening, kayaking and canoeing, and reading a good book at home with my 3 cats (I'm always up for a recommendation).
