I am a marine biology grad student with over 6 years of experience with children aged 1-17. I spent the last two years as an outdoor environmental educator on Catalina Island. I have extensive knowledge on how to care for children of all ages, including teaching and tutoring k-12th grade. I am a certified ocean lifeguard and am able to help with swimming. I am also an avid cook and gardener! I have experience in a speech therapy classroom as well as a special education class for preschoolers. I have babysat and tutored kids ranging from 8 months - 10 years. I feel comfortable with babies under 1 year.

Allie was such an amazing sitter to come in right as we were transitioning slowly to going back to work. She came in at the early hours of the day, which allowed us to get some much needed sleep before starting a day of work. We both worked mostly from home so getting along with whomever came in was essential. She was bright, happy, and just a joy to have in the house. She was great at knowing the line between letting us work and have uninterrupted time and getting baby breaks from work. She always picked out adorable outfits for C and just had so much fun with our little newborn.
