Hello there! My name is Allie, I am an energetic and organized young creative, looking to enrich your child's life through creative education. As a part-time professor at SCSU, I have found that education is a true passion of mine. My recent management and customer service experience has taught me invaluable lessons like conflict-resolution and time management, all backed by a B. S degree in communication which provided me with excellent interpersonal communication skills. I ensure that under my care, your child will tap into their creative potential through storytelling, drama, and other creative medium. Please feel free to reach out and ask me any questions about my qualifications!

I did a phone screening with Allie over the phone & decided to follow with an in-person interview based on her experience although I never asked for references so I can't really validate anything she told me (my mistake) but it was last minute and i had to get a sitter asap. Everything did go well during the interview and she seemed like a good fit for our family so we went ahead and made her an offer for the position and she agreed with the pay rate as well as the hours. She initially was supposed to start this wed/ Thur but my husband wasn't feeling well so I gave her notice that I would bring her in for Thursday only for this week since he would be home with them on Wednesday. Come today, she texted me out of nowhere & says the following...."hi Jessica, unfortunately i won't be able to move forward with the position as i have taken another job that better aligns with my schedule and budget". Please be aware that she was scheduled to start TOMORROW (Mind you, she specifically said she would be able to work the hours/ days i needed with no issues) So now what does this mean? this simply means I'm out of a babysitter and I have to struggle to figure something out by tonight for tomorrow at 7am. I then went to ask her she would just watch them tomorrow since she is giving me such late notice & she says "unfortunately the offer is contingent on me starting tomorrow as the family is in the midst of an emergency" as if me no longer having a babysitter isn't an emergency!!! This is extremely unprofessional not to mention inconvenient on her end to do this after the offer and acceptance was already set in stone. Allie is clearly not dependable/ trustworthy & I would not trust her with my children at all. I also spotted her at Walmart and she still had on what seemed to be her pajamas from the night before, hair a total mess; dressed poorly, as if she had a crazy time the night prior. FYI- this is not about her getting a better offer because It's obviously about who's going to pay her more money which I understand and No one should be mad about, its more about give notice very last minute and not offering to sit for my boys for a week or two before I find another sitter! I asked her twice to come tomorrow as I have no one to watch my boys and she didn't even reply back. Very inconsiderate, unprofessional & disappointing. hire her and you may never know if she will bail out on you last minute!
