About Allie

Hi! I'm Allie and I have been working with children in a professional capacity since 2010! I was a Childcare Teacher for 5 years, a Lead Infant Teacher for 4 years, and a Nanny for the last 5 years. I have references, a resume, and an educational philosophy document available upon request. I chose to become a nanny because the daycare environment did not allow me to give infants the individualized and consistent affection and attention that they deserve. My teaching style is play-based and focused on discovering each child's interests so I can use them to make learning fun. It is my goal to provide a safe, loving care environment in partnership with parents, and to help develop the self-confidence and emotional intelligence needed for children to transition to group care as they get older. I am a strong supporter of outdoor exploration, and will love to take my nanny kid/s out to see nature as much as weather permits. I love animals and am open to a nanny share situation.
