Aside from working with family members with special needs, I have 4 years of paid experience working with both children and adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. My skills range from tutoring to assistance with activities of daily living. In order to attend the doctoral program for occupational therapy at Boston University, I have accumulated over 50 hours of learning and working under occupational therapists as they provided care for individuals with varying disabilities.
