About Allen

My name is Allen and I am a current 4th year medical student going into residency next July! I enjoy caring for elderly folks and have lots of experience caring for them during my medical training and through caregiving experiences. I am always trying to improve the quality of life for my patients and companions, so I do my best to be sensitive and available for their needs. Most recently, I cared for a gentleman with Parkinson's Disease, and we spent many afternoons going on walks and just chatting about life. I not only spent lots of time caring for his needs (meal prep, housework, transportation to doctor's appointments, etc.) but also we developed a great friendship during the holiday season! I'm looking for a job that can provide reliable hours, will show me what your senior needs and that communicates well. In my spare time, I like to learn languages, rock climbing, play sports, read history books and memoirs and travel.
