About Allegra

I'd describe my personality as energetic, playful, and compassionate. I like working with kids because I grew up with 3 younger siblings, and I miss feeling like the big sister. Now that my siblings are all grown up, I miss spending time with younger kids. I started working with kids when I was about 12, working as a "mother's helper", where I was babysitting while the parents were home, essentially occupying the kids while the parents worked. Around 15, I started actually babysitting, and I continued babysitting through college, when I was home for breaks. In my spare time, I like to attend live theatre, go for walks outside, and read. One thing you should know about me is I am looking for evening/night/weekend work, as I work a full-time 9-5. My skills include arts and crafts, a variety of sports, and making food that kids will eat (pasta, chicken nuggets, that sort of thing). I am CPR and First Aid certified through a lifeguard certification I received last summer (2023).
