About Allayna

Hello! My name is Allayna, and I'm a 20-year-old Elementary Education Major at Indiana University Southeast. My love for working with/helping children and families started when my two little special needs brothers came into my life! Raising them really made me fall in love with teaching - so much so I made a career out of it! I am currently a barista, but am looking to babysit children, and help families while also doing online college. I have years of experience with children 3months-6 years old, but have student taught middle schoolers for a few months in 2023. I have such a passion for children, and would love to use my passion to be a helping hand for families :) I like working with kids because its so rewarding. As an aspiring teacher, I know the joys of connecting with a child, and watching them learn about new things! In my spare time, I like to play music! I sing, write, and play guitar. I would always love to bring over my guitar and have some musical fun with the kiddos!
