I'd describe my personality as curious, understanding, and gentle. I like working with animals because they are all unique in their own special way. I started working with animals when I was a child. My family always had pets, and from the moment I could walk I've always loved playing with my animals. I grew up with dogs and cats, but now being an adult I have my dream animal which is my tarantula! I have had her for 6-7 years now. Animals are truly just so pure and wonderful, and I love that about them Especially with dogs, you could leave the house for 5 hours or 5 minutes and they will always be just as happy to see you when you come back. In my spare time, I like to draw, read books with my son, run and swim! One thing you should know about me is I am very patient and understanding of anything life throws my way. My skills include patience, endurance, and knowledge.

Aliyah is a patient and caring childcare provider. Nothing seems to ruffle her and she is consistent with a child’s routines but flexible enough to go with the flow when it is best for the child to do so. My favorite aspect of her child rearing skills is the constant games and silly songs she sings that children love, she really plays with children and doesn’t just go down the checklist of lunch done, nap done, bath done etc. Having a special needs child of her own gives her a unique perspective on handling children and understanding their individual needs.
