About Aliyah

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, patient, fun, and adaptable! I like working with kids because it's amazing to teach them skills that will carry with them for the rest of their lives, I love interacting with them and the amount of pure joy I get from it. I started working with kids 7 years ago. I was a snorkel/swim instructor who taught the importance of water safety, reef conservation, and marine biology. I'm got my captains license and started working on ships teaching the same, & also working as an offshore educator teaching children math, celestial navigation, seamanship, core skills like team building, marine biology, history, and meteorology. I have a love for all people and animals. I do believe I was put on this earth to help spread a type of joy and excitement towards learning. I had learning disabilities growing up and I think it is important to understand that every child has a very special unique personality and I hope to accommodate that in my care as best as I ca
