About Alixandra

I like working with kids because I believe in the saying "it takes a village to raise a child" and I like doing my part. I started working with kids in high school when I volunteered at a summer reading program. Later, in 2017, I did my first teaching job at a summer program in Taiwan teaching English. I went back to Taiwan and taught again from January 2020-May 2021. When I came back to the States, I worked in a daycare in Pennsylvania for several months before moving here, to California. My skills include taking the time to listen to the child and empathizing with the child, problem solving with the child, and now after working in a daycare, I am good at handling multiple issues at one time. I'm currently nannying part time for a family with a 5, 3, and 1-year-old. I would love to find another family to do part time work with!
