I grew up in a house with nine siblings. As the fourth child, I helped take care of them as one of the oldest. With five out of nine siblings having disabilities, I grew up understanding how to care for children of all types, including medically fragile and children with special needs (ex. autism, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia). I babysat for my family and many families starting at 16, from newborns to 13-year-olds. Last year I worked in a daycare as a floater taking care of children 0-12 years old. Then I was promoted to the toddler classroom. Because of my experience in the daycare, I am trained in CPR, First Aid, and how to teach children at each developmental level. I find so much joy in helping families and taking care of children! I also am majoring in ASL, and while I'm not fluent, I know a lot and would love to teach your children!
