About Alissa

Hello! I have nine siblings and started babysitting for families in my community in High School. With five of my siblings having disabilities, I've developed a deep understanding of caring for children with a wide range of needs. I've cared for children from newborns up to 13-year-olds, providing support on both weekdays and weekends. Three years ago, I worked at a daycare as a floater. Later, I was promoted to lead the toddler classroom. This role helped me gain certifications and a solid grasp of children's developmental and learning stages. Following that, I worked with a wonderful family for two years, caring for two girls-one of whom had cerebral palsy. I recently graduated and moved to Waco, where I now work full-time as an ASL Interpreter in a school district. I enjoy engaging energetically with children, running errands, and helping with household tasks. It brings me joy to serve others and witness children grow and thrive.
