About Alissa

Growing up with four younger brothers and sisters has prepared me to assist with child care. I have done it all from playing out side, changing diapers, preparing meals, bandaging the boo boos, and cleaning messy faces. While in the military, I have had great opportunities to babysit. A good friend of mine asked me to babysit his 9-month-old for a few hours. I found myself babysitting her often and she is now 4 years old. He spread the word that I was great with kids, other couples asked if I could babysit for date nights, errand running, or late nights at work. I really enjoy being outside and staying active. I'd like to say I'm full of energy myself. I'm capable of doing just about everything; telling a story, making crafts, preparing meals and most importantly I just became Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and AED. I don't have any of my own but I think kids are wonderful and I always make the best of it when I get an opportunity to care for one!

Alissa began working for us in late summer/early fall 2016 and has since become like a member of the family. We have 3 boys who love her, and she makes our day-to-day lives easier. Her responsibilities are picking up the boys from school and taking them to their various activities then home. On occasion, she will prepare dinner and tidy up. Even when she's not scheduled, if she knows extra help is needed, she will do her best to help out. There isn't a day that goes by that she isn't smiling and laughing.
