About Alissa

Hi my name is Alissa! Growing up as the oldest with 7, yes, 7 younger siblings, I have my lifetime of experience! I also started sitting and working as a part-time nanny in middle school, and all throughout high school with about 7 years of experience, and plenty of references. I can handle a lot and have good stress management. I believe I am very kind and patient with children, and have worked with all ages, including toddlers and babies. I am open to providing tutoring and homework help services as well. I do not believe in yelling, hitting, or very strict parenting styles, rather, showing children respect in order to earn it. I am very active and outdoorsy, and am a creative person who enjoys singing and writing poetry and music. I love working with kids and take pride in getting to positively influence them as they grow into their own person! I am also CPR/AED certified. I work with a wonderful family full time, my availability is after 5 p.m. on weekdays, open weekends.
