About Alissa

Hi! I have four years of experience working with kids as a sitter and a stepmother. I'm a former children's entertainer and personal assistant who adores children and pets. Due to the pandemic, many of the kids I cared for are under 4-years-old but I watch kids of all ages. I also have experience working with children with ASD both verbal and non-verbal but I do not have formal training. As a former personal assistant to a high profile family with five kids who I also supported, I'm protective and conscious about privacy too. Currently, I am seeking extra income while applying for my PhD and spending time with children while doing so is a blessing. As an academic, I'm just as comfortable facilitating homeschool and homework as I am taking care of and creating activities for kids. I am also a natural at making balloon animals and face painting which can come in quite handy in a pinch. Children are drawn to me like cotton candy so don't be surprised if they don't want me to leave!
