About Alissa

Hi there! My name is Alissa, or Ms. C, I am a special education teacher with over 10 years of experience as a nanny and a deep passion for working with children. I've been a camp counselor, tutor theater-arts teacher, and babysitter. I love bringing creativity to every job I take because I believe it's essential to foster the imagination of children of all ages. Currently, I am a special education teacher, committed to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. I am also pursuing my master's degree in special education at National Louis University. I'm available to tutor after school or over the summer, helping students prepare for the upcoming school year and addressing any gaps from the previous year. Designing individualized education plans is a vital part of my work as a special education teacher, and I would love use my skill set to help your children!
