About Alissa

As a caring and experienced childcare provider with over a decade of experience, I'm passionate about nurturing children's growth and development in a safe and nurturing environment. My background includes some college coursework, and doing college classes for a RN. I'm patient, calm, and creative, and I believe in fostering a supportive environment where children feel comfortable expressing themselves. I keep parents regularly updated on their child's day and address any issues that arise promptly. I follow the parents' lead when it comes to enforcing household rules and prefer their preferred communication method. I love playing a variety of games with children, both indoors and outdoors, and I'm always looking for new and exciting ways to engage them. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children at a time and have experience with all age groups. I also am comfortable with pets, and am willing to help with cooking, meal preparation, travel, and swimming supervision.
