About Alison

In my 10+ year career as a nanny, I've had the privilege to work with a diverse array of children and families. My background in Psychology (Bachelor's and Master's degree in Psychology) gives me unique insight into child development and behavior. I am an energetic, focused and kind child care provider who believes in acting as a unit with parents and guardians to ensure consistency with child care. I also believe in enforcing rules and holding boundaries with children, and have spent the better part of a decade learning how to be gentle but firm with children. I truly believe children thrive when they have clear rules and boundaries, and that upholding those boundaries creates trust and safety within the child-caregiver relationship. I am currently available during the evening and on weekends for childcare.
