About Alison

I am a passionate educator with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education, Reading Endorsement and graduate work in Teaching English Language Learners. I hold a Professional Florida Educator Certification in Elementary Education K-6 and Reading Endorsement. My experience includes over a decade in education, including more than five years in primary reading instruction and support. I tutored K-6 reading, writing and mathematics in-person. I was employed by Pasco County Schools as an Academic Tutor, Reading Intervention Teacher and Instructional Assistant. I've worked in an elementary Montessori school. Prior to moving to this area, I was employed by both public and private schools in Iowa. I also served four years with AmeriCorps Partners in Learning as a Reading Tutor, supporting the National Campaign for Grade Level Reading and K-3 students who were not reading at grade level. I look forward to supporting more students on their educational journeys in this time of need!
