About Alison

I have a friendly, patient and compassionate disposition with residents. I have been a caregiver for families for over 17 years. I have experience cooking, cleaning, gardening, running errands, planning outings, activities, bathing, hair cut/ styling. I still encourage taking care of personal hygiene as independently as they are able to do for themselves. I assist in taking clients to their appointments. I relay information between the families and doctor. I document daily observations of how my clients abilities and condition. Communicating with families, co-workers and supervisors regarding care- relaying if the client is in pain, request to see a doctor, sharing photos of them happy and comfortable Assisting with transfer and mobility- taking clients, shopping and running errands, allowing them to still shop independently, take clients on outings and appointments. My clients appreciate the extra time I'm able to spend with them. Having a social life is important.
