Alison has years of experience working with children, both as a nanny and in group childcare settings. She is comfortable navigating different parenting styles and when it comes to the most important parts of caring for young children (keeping them safe and ensuring they feel loved) she is a confident and competent nanny. She had a great relationship with both children in our recent nanny share and it was clear they loved her as well. She regularly read and played music for them. She was comfortable in the early days of introducing solids and offered ideas of foods that might be nice to try, or would come up with options that she would find around the house. She rarely missed work, but did often show up 5-10 minutes late. She was good at communicating if it would be any more than that.
