About Alison

I am am experienced tutor with over six years as a professional homeschool teacher and three years tutoring students part-time. I am capable of tutoring k-12 through college and graduate levels. I love the challenge of tutoring advanced subjects, but also enjoy helping young children as they start to read and write. I was able to start my daughter reading and writing at age 3. I studied French, Portuguese and Spanish language in college and would be comfortable tutoring those languages at the high school level. I also offer SAT test prep, and college essay and application help. I was a high school Valedictorian, earned a BA from The George Washington University and an MPA from NYU. I am happy to tutor at your home, at the local library or online.
