About Alison

In the 1980s I worked as a nanny in West Hampton Long Island and then moved into New York City where I continued to care for the same infant. I worked as a long term substitute teacher in the Claude Chester Elementary school. In 1997 I graduated with a Masters degree in social work. My first job began doing adoption work with Catholic Charities for the diocese of Norwich. It was very exciting working with childless couples and making their dreams become reality. I also began working with the elderly. I have done companion care, cooked meals, light housekeeping and some personal care. I am a very compassionate person with good communication skills, and a good sense of humor. I have over five years of experience working with the elderly, particularly with dementia. You will not be disappointed with my services.
