Hello I majored in Mathematics in college and have always been curious as to how others "get" math. In other countries they teach "Math" with an 's' at the end, taking a more holistic approach to the subject. My friend is a librarian who hates math, but he recently taught an origami workshop at his branch, and he said the geometry helped him understand math better. In any case I did some light childcare last year, applied to transition from computer programming to math teacher via online teaching credential. I'm available for tutoring and always like to connect with a student and make something understandable for them. Or, in some cases, the student is quite capable, but has slacked off and gotten too comfortable. There is no harm in doing well in math, it gets one subject out of the way, freeing up time and brain power to pursue life's goals with more abandon. Please contact me for tutoring. Thanks.
