About Alisha

My experience caring for others started when my great-grandmother moved in with my family when I was in middle school. My mom, siblings, and I all took turns caring for her. Years later when I was in college, I helped care for my grandmother by being her chauffeur since she never got her driver's license. I took her grocery shopping, to church, to the pharmacy, to restaurants, to her friend's house, etc. Since she lived alone, I was providing companionship to her, but to me I was just visiting with my Nanny. Years later, I became I stay-at-home mom to my two boys which included cleaning/housework, grocery shopping, cooking, and laundry. I also homeschooled my boys for 8 years. The last 5 years, I have been caring for my son who has been chronically ill. I am empathetic, patient, and respectful. My Granny and Nanny taught me well.
