I am an occupational therapist currently working full time in rehab setting. I have education and experience in all areas of special needs, including mental health, cognitive disabilities, and childhood disabilities. I have been trained in transfers and mobility. I also have worked in a nursing home in the past and have extensive experience with dementia and other cognitive difficulties. I enjoy working with people of all ages, and I seek to provide companionship more than anything. Building a relationship with the people you take care of is so important, so that is something I seek to do in every interaction. My goal is to empower people to be as independent as possible in their every day life.
