About Aliisa

I am a warm, energetic person who has a passion for caring for children! My previous experiences include caring for infants at C. S. Mott Children's Hospital, as a volunteer. In addition, I have spent 4 years caring for two boys ages 8 and 13. During that time I would cook meals, help with homework, play games, drive them to athletic practices, travel to do fun activities like the trampoline park, and do some light household chores. In addition to my previous child care experience, I have two years of experience working with children on the Autism spectrum ages 2-9, providing ABA therapy. Once I received my Masters degree in Counseling, I began working as a high school counselor and varsity girls lacrosse coach. Two years ago now, I relocated from Michigan to Charlotte, where I currently work as a MS counselor. Throughout my variety of experiences, I have always found that working with children and adolescents is what I'm meant to do and I hope to share that passion with you!
